sad puglet

Today I am kinda sad. My daddy got in a car accident on his way to work yesty morning less than a block from our house. He is OKAY thank pugness! The car on the other hand hurts and it's sick. No pics, we didn't have time to take them between running back & forth to the scene and home.

Daddy was at a stop sign in the right lane and in the left lane there was a big scary 18 wheeler truck. The 18 wheeler truck turned right, clipped the driver's side of daddy's door and one of it's 18 wheels started running over the door but then the driver of the 18 wheeler knew he had hit something and stopped, thank pugness or daddy wouldn't of been alright. Meanwhile daddy was still stationary at the stop sign while it was happening waiting till it was okay to go! Oh my pug we were scared when he called! Mama said daddy is very lucky. We are sad because daddy could of been very hurt. He called us as soon as it happened and she ran (with me! and in pajamas and two sweaters and yesterday's hair do) up the street to make sure he was okay. Then we got there and we had to go back to get something for daddy, and mama & I ran back home and she left me home in my crate. So I got even more sad because I was crated. I was so happy to see daddy was okay when he came home. Now the car is at some strange place and they have to assess it then fix it, so I will miss some doggle park trips in the mean time.

Mama mumbled something about Christmas and this happening so close to Christmas and then I heard more mumblings about hoping Percy gets lots of presents and more more mumbling about deductible (whatever that is...), so I am really hoping this supposed Santa Pug finds me this year. She mumbles stuff about Santa Pug only bringing gifts to good pugs, and not cheese demon, juicy pug farting bad puglets, kinda like cookies - bad pugs don't get cookies and treats but good pugs do, then there is another rule which confuses me - everytime I potty outside I come in and eat a cookie. Potty outside = cookie regardless if I am good or bad. Perhaps I need to eat more so I can turn into a cute poop machine who gets cookies a lot regardless of behavior....hmmm..... or I could do cute tricks like shake paw in the meantime for treats will I'm working on becoming a pro poop machine.

Getting in the Christmas spirit

Two cats & a pug (who are also fellow CANADIANS!) are having a Christmas decorating contest  and since my mama and I really, really, really want to win a cute pug ornament for the tree we are blogging with our decorations.

So far we's got lights up! Daddy took me out to do my business and we sneaked this picture of mama working away! She spent all day out there. Then some of the night. She complained that a set of lights went out and how cold it was. (Its FREEZING here, I had to wear my jacket everytime we went outside today!) She wouldn't let me out on the balcony with her, she thinks I will fall off. Seesh. Daddy ran to the store to get her more lights for reasons unknown to this pug as she paid very little attention to me while "decorating" so I don't know why he would of went to get MORE lights....

She gave up for the night and made it this far...
She's trying to compete with her sister back in Canada who is obsessed with lights.. she is not done putting all of her lights up yet, but here's her house decked out. Mama's got a ways to go!

Mama says next step tree. Next next step keeping ME away from tree. Good thing is I don't bother cords/anything that plugs in, but I do bark at random inanimate objects that I am unfamiliar with (such as plastic bags), but we'll save that story for another blog post! Wish us luck in the contest, we wants that pug!

Cheese Demon

Hi, I'm Percy. I am addicted to CHEESE!

When I do not get enough daily treats of CHEESE, I turn into the CHEESE DEMON.

What is this mysterious CHEESE DEMON you ask?

It's where I'm VERY BAD to my mommy and daddy and will go to any length to beg for cheese to satisfy my addiction. Caution, there is no stopping me.

There are four known side effects of CHEESE DEMON, they include pinned back ears, lots of jumping on humans, humans unable to take decent photos of subject because they are in CHEESE DEMON mode, and bitey face.

Punishment for CHEESE DEMON like states include banishment to a crate, no snuggles - only allowed sleeping at human's feet, and no treats until a calm state is achieved. A short depression may follow.

Please continue feeding pugs cheese as often as possible to avoid CHEESE DEMONS in your home.

Cool things I do THURSDAYS

My mama found these videos of me. Please enjoy my puglet cuteness. I was about 8 weeks old when my mom taught me these tricks and filmed them. Please ignore my mama's bad hair do's, she forgot about herself when she first got me.
This one is where my mom taught me to shake.

And this is the one where I sit, shake, and lay down.

Every Thursday I will try to put a video of me doing tricks. It will be called Cool Things I Do Thursdays. Suggestions for things you would like to see me do, just comment.

I pooped in a hole

Really, I pooped in a hole. I ran over to a hole, did 3 pugtonas, and pooped in it. Directly in the hole in the grass.

Sadly, my mom said there will be no pictures today as they are not blog appropriate and it may cause reactions such as "YUCK" and other puggys thinking they can sniff/eat the computer screen. But since I am the alpha pug (or so I think...) I came up with this thanks to my friends Google Image Search and Paint. I recreated it to the best of my pugbilities.
